Clubhouse & Course Guidelines

Dear BCC Members and Guests,   Effective Tuesday March 31st   In keeping with the latest news from Governor’s Office in regards to the Covid-19 virus, Beechwood Country Club will remain open as an option for members and guest to have a place to exercise while practicing and following the guidelines from the CDC. We are adapting new operating procedures to protect you and all staff members. We thank you for understanding and supporting us during this time. Below are some of the necessary changes in our day to day operations that we have implemented with the latest update.   Golf: To check in for golf please call the Pro Shop at 252-332-2905 ext 1 and pay over phone. We encourage ALL members to make sure their account is set up for charging. If you must pay in person please go to side/deck door of Pro Shop and we will check you in while you remain outside. We are recommending that each player have their own individual cart unless you come with a family member or trusted partner. Carts have been regularly disinfected and keys, scorecards, and pencils will already be placed in the cart. There will be no sand bottles or coolers on the carts. Flag sticks are to remain in the hole and players are asked to leave the flag in and avoid contact with the flag. Foam has been added to each hole, allowing the ball to be removed with putter. All rakes have been removed from the course. Our recommendation would to be take one club length and smooth area once you are done. Closest to the Hole has been suspended until further notice. Hole in One will remain an option at this time. Please remove all trash from your cart before returning. A trash can has been placed at cart return for your convenience. The putting green hole markers have been replaced with foam, allowing you to retrieve your ball away from the hole without touching the cup. We ask that anyone who has a bag/clubs in storage or locker to take those items with you to limit clubhouse access.   Gatherings are prohibited. Members and Guest are not allowed to “gather” in groups of 10 or more and everyone is to practice social distancing by being at least 6 feet away from one another. We ask once your round is complete that you return to your car. This is simply following the CDC guidelines.     Limited Pro Shop and Clubhouse traffic: Please call ahead to pay for/member charge your golfing fees. Please call ahead to order and pay for your to-go food from the grill. Please call ahead to place a Gourmet to Go order. Our staff will be happy to go over what is available. Our staff will bring it out to you, allowing you to remain in your car. If you are at BCC and would like to purchase an item from the Pro Shop we will have staff available to retrieve your item and complete your purchase while you remain outside. Please stand at side/deck entrance for assistance in completing a purchase. This includes Gourmet to Go, Grill food orders, etc.   Restrooms: We ask that everyone use the restrooms located at our Pool House and avoid entering the Pro Shop and Clubhouse.     What We Ask of You:   If you are sick, STAY AWAY! An emerging thought is that a sudden loss of smell or taste is a peculiar sign of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus and possible signs of infection even if you are not showing symptoms. Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time. Utilize the hand sanitizer. Limit your interactions inside of the clubhouse and on the back patio. Group gatherings are prohibited. Keep a perimeter of 6 feet between you and the person next to you whenever possible. Leave the flagstick in the hole while playing. Level bunkers after use with your foot and club. Throw away your trash before returning your golf cart after your round. Call in your food order before arriving at the club to limit time. Call 252-332-2905 ext 2 to place your order. After play go directly to your car. Use your own golf balls for practice putting and chipping.     If you have any questions feel free to call us. Beechwood and COVID-19

Dear Beechwood Country Club Members and Guests,    Beechwood will remain open at this time.  Our staff members are currently monitoring all developments concerning COVID-19.  We are implementing the best practices to minimize the risk of spreading at our facility.   CLUBHOUSE We are stepping up our cleaning regime in the clubhouse by continuing to wipe and disinfect all frequently contacted surfaces with extra attention to counters, bar area and golf carts.  Our staff has been instructed to wash hands frequently, wear gloves whenever possible and have been instructed to stay home if they are sick or have been in direct contact with someone known to have tested positive.  If our clubhouse begins to over crowd, we may request to disperse or restrict entry until crowd size reduces.   GOLF COURSE UPDATES  - Golf carts will be sanitized prior to each round played with extra attention on steering wheel,         seats, handles and support bars.  - Please putt with FLAG IN as much as possible  - Putting & chipping green flags will be removed until further notice   PAYMENTS Preferred payment methods for golf will be DEBIT/CREDIT or MEMBER CHARGE. Beechwood Invitational

Registration is now open for our Beechwood Invitational.  The first 50 PAID teams will be accepted.  Print and fill out the registration sheet below.  You can mail it to us, drop it off or come by the Pro Shop to fill one out. FEELIN' LUCKY?? Come out and join us tomorrow at 10am for a shootout.  $20 BET   MUST sign up by 9am tomorrow morning.
